Nigeria Formally Launch Malaria Vaccine Immunization

The Federal Government of Nigeria, through the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, has formally launched the Malaria Vaccine as part of the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI).

The implementation will commence at all Primary Health Care (PHC) facilities located in Kebbi and Bayelsa States.

”The rollout begins with all Primary Health Care (PHC) facilities in Kebbi and Bayelsa States.

“We encourage parents and caregivers of children aged 5–11 months to ensure their children receive this life-saving vaccine to protect them from Malaria.

“All vaccines, including the Malaria vaccine, are provided free of charge at public health facilities. Visit the nearest PHC today.”
