AfricaSTI’s Editors, Others Train Journalists on Science communication

Today, AfricaSTI’s duo, Diran Onifade and Onche Odeh take the stage to offer their wealth of professional experience to Nigerian journalists who are being trained on how to effectively communicate science through the mass media.
Joined by former Editor-in-chief at the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Alli Hakeem, and Senior Editor at Nigeria’s Nation Newspaper, Yusuf Alli, the duo shall be taking the participating journalists including those reporting 0on Science, Health and Agriculture on key subjects on how they could ease their understanding of science and hone their reportorial skills to meet international standards.
The training, an initiative of the African Agricultural Technology Foundation (AATF) is being hosted by the National Biotechnology Research Development Agency (NBRDA) in conjunction with the Open Forum on Agricultural Biotechnology (OFAB).
