Nigerian Tech innovator, entrepreneur, and founder of Aiflix360, Dr. Ope Banwo has made history as the first filmmaker in Africa to produce and release a fully AI-generated feature film, which comes with a 14-track AI-produced soundtrack album.

The groundbreaking movie titled “The OmegaMax Conspiracy,” is Africa’s first-ever full-length AI-generated film.

Set for release in March 2025, the movie is based on the shocking true story of the global Omegapro Forex scam.

Speaking on the movie, Banwo said, “OmegaMax Conspiracy unravels the rise and fall of one of the biggest financial frauds of the decade.

“For years, Omegapro promoters promised financial freedom, luxury lifestyles, and life-changing wealth, convincing over 250,000 Nigerian investors—and millions worldwide—to pour their hard-earned money into what they believed was a revolutionary forex trading opportunity.

The 100% AI-Generated Feature Film has no human actors, no physical production sets, no manual cinematography. The Soundtrack Album titled “Omegapro Scandemic” features 14 AI-written, AI-produced, AI-mixed, and AI-mastered theme songs for the film, creating an immersive experience unlike anything seen before.

Everything about the film, from scripting and directing to character performances, soundtracks, and CGI effects where AI-generated.

Apart from The OmegaMax Conspiracy, Banwo’s team has also created the “Omegapro Scandemic” album—14 AI-generated theme songs written, composed, produced, mixed, and mastered entirely by artificial intelligence. The album will be released on Spotify, iTunes, SoundCloud, and 109+ streaming platforms worldwide.

According to industry watchers, the film, which is the first full-length AI-generated feature film and AI soundtrack album ever produced in Africa represents a milestone for Nollywood and African Music as it has also placed Nigeria at the forefront of AI-powered storytelling and music, proving that Africa can compete with the best in digital film and sound innovation.

“This isn’t just about making a movie or an album. It’s about proving that AI can revolutionize content creation in ways we never imagined,” Dr. Banwo was quoted as saying.

“From scriptwriting to character animation, voice-overs, and now even music production, AI handled every aspect of the creative process. This is the future, and Africa is at the forefront,” he also said.

Nigeria’s movie industry industry has struggled with lots of challenges, including budget constraints, logistical hurdles, and limited resources. With AI-driven filmmaking and music production, a new door may have been opened for African storytellers and artists to leapfrog these challenges to create high-quality productions without the need for expensive sets, actors, recording studios, or instruments.
