Allied Talent Partners (ATP), a groundbreaking talent marketplace, has been officially launched to connect project-based experts with African climate- and clean energy-related projects.
The launch took place today at at the inaugural Mission 300 (M300) Summit in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Mission 300, led by the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the World Bank, aims to bring electricity to 300 million people in Sub-Saharan Africa by 2030.
ATP’s platform addresses the critical issue of specialized talent shortage in Africa’s climate and energy projects. By connecting independent talent with project needs, ATP accelerates the momentum towards meeting Africa’s climate goals.
“Africa’s climate challenges demand urgent, innovative solutions. ATP bridges the gap between top talent and critical projects,” said Rachel Moré-Oshodi, incoming ATP Board Member and CEO of ARM-Harith.
ATP connects experienced professionals and climate experts to various climate-related projects, including infrastructure developments, governmental initiatives, NGO efforts, and private sector ventures.
With over 2,500 profiles in its database, ATP plans to expand to 5,000 independent consultants within the next year.
ATP seeks to support stakeholders like the World Bank, African Development Bank, and Rockefeller Foundation in achieving ambitious energy access and climate-focused goals.
“Access to skilled professionals is essential for advancing energy access in Africa. ATP ensures the right expertise is deployed to enable impactful solutions,” said Admassu Tadesse, TDB Group President.
ATP is also partnering with Rockefeller Catalytic Capital and other leading organizations to foster sustainable economic development and combat climate change in Africa.
